Why Should you Fish with Us.
Where you Stay matters !!!! if you are going to come all the way to Guatemala to fish. Google Earth where you are going to stay. We are not a four wall compound surrounded by razor wire. We do have our own helicopter landing pad. The air-club is a quick two minute boat ride or 10 minute car ride to the resort for those who prefer to travel via small airplane instead of helicopter
Our resort is located on the island of Buena Vista and is 3 1/2 acres of private waterfront property with stellar volcano views your boat parked right behind your luxury five star accommodations, listening to the surf break on the beach 500 yards down the river. Our five star resort has been landscaped by board certified master Arborist, Jody Elswick, and it is a collection of some of the most interesting plants and trees in Central America. It is worth it to Google Earth it!!!! it speaks for itself
There is something satisfying about watching your boat get cleaned by the boat wash down boys and get restocked by the mates and leaders get changed and all of the things that go on to have the boat ready for the next day and to be able to watch that while you are sitting at the restaurant and having dinner there's just something really gratifying about Knowing you had a great day and the boat is getting completely rigged up again for tomorrow. everything from new air freshener cartridges to all of them mixings to make ceviche. It's neat to watch. It's awesome to know that you can walk from your room to the restaurant to the boat the next morning and even leave your personal gear on the boat if you would like.

Itinerary for Three Days of
Fishing
Arrive Guatemala City airport and meet by one of our staff Who will be carrying a sign with your group‘s last name in an air-conditioned bus that is fully stocked with refreshing beverages. One and a half hour ride to resort between several active volcanoes is very scenic
Arrive at resort for welcoming drinks and appetizers. Unwind in our dockside restaurant while waiting for the boats to come in with fishing reports. Dinner is served between 6:30 and 7:30 PM.

First Dinner arrival evening Snapper (Fried or Veracruzana) Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Vegetables. Flan for Dessert.
Day One
Wake up knock on your door 5:30 AM with Coffee and Orange Juice. Please make your Coffee in front of waiter or waitress and for the rest of your trip we will have it premade for you with the right amount of Cream and Sugar before we wake you up. Breakfast: For a taste of Guatemala we recommend a Typical Plate that includes Chorizo or Bacon, Fresh Eggs, freshly made Tortillas, Fresh Cheese, Fried Plantains with Fresh Cream for dipping.
We have a full selection of yogurt, Breakfast Cereals, Fresh Baked muffins along with some Big Breakfasts that are more what you would see in the United States
